Explores the ethical foundations of equitable care and examines how provider bias, systemic inequities, and identity-based differences shape the behavioral health experience. The first half of the session focuses on ethics, cultural humility, and provider responsibilities in promoting fair, responsive care. The second half applies these principles to real-world scenarios across developmental stages, gender, and cultural identity—highlighting strategies for working effectively with diverse populations across the lifespan.
Clinical Supervision: Ethics, Growth & Sustainable Practice
Offers a comprehensive foundation for effective clinical supervision in behavioral health settings. Participants will explore supervisory roles and models, learn how to navigate the overlap between clinical and administrative supervision, and develop strategies to support supervisee skill development, documentation, and ethical decision-making. The session also emphasizes self-care as a supervisory responsibility—modeling sustainability and wellness in the workplace.
